  1. What if my experience is affected by COVID-19?

    All winners will have until 31.12.23 to take their prize, in the hope that Government restrictions remain at ease over the coming months. If a winner has booked their Dream Road Trip holiday with our fulfilment partner and is unable to take their prize as originally planned due to Government restrictions relating to COVID-19, then our fulfilment partner will work with winners on a case-by-case basis in order to resolve this.

    Wherever possible, our fulfilment partner will seek to rebook dates and book an alternative Dream Road Trip holiday in order to enable winners to take their prize.

    Prize claimants must follow Government travel guidelines at all times. Please see the Government website here for the most up to date information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Dream Road Trip holidays can be taken within the UK/Ireland, as well as many locations worldwide and it is always advised that winners take out travel insurance including COVID cover, which can, if the winner desires, be included within the €/£10,000 prize budget so that, in the event their Dream Road Trip holiday needs to be cut short or cannot take place due to illness, they can make a claim on their travel insurance to recoup any losses.

    1. How long is the promotion running for?
    1. The promotional period for the 5 x €/£10,000 Road Trip holidays to be won, via randomly seeded winning packs, will run until 23:59 on 31.12.22.

      The core promotional period for the weekly draws, to win 8 x €/£10,000 Road Trip holiday via www.kitkat.co.uk, occurs each week from 00:00am on 10.01.22, closing the following Sunday at 23:59pm until the last weekly draw on 06.03.22.

      After the core promotional period, there will still be an opportunity to win 1 x €/£10,000 Road Trip holiday in each of the 2 x late entry draws.

      The first late entry draw period will run from 00:00 on 07.03.22 to 23:59 on 31.07.22.
      The second late entry draw period will run from 00:00 on 01.08.22 to 23:59 on 31.12.22.

    1. To enter the promotion, you need to purchase a participating promotional pack of KitKat® (whilst stocks last).

      If your promotional pack contains a winning insert inside, please follow the instructions outlined on how to claim your prize.

    1. How often can I enter and how many times could I win a €/£10,000 Dream Road Trip holiday?
    1. There is a maximum of 2 x online entries per person, per day during the promotional period into the weekly online prize draws. There is a maximum of 1x €/£10,000 Road Trip holiday prize per person and a maximum of 1x €/£10,000 Road Trip holiday prize per household for the weekly online microsite draws during the full promotional period, including late entry draws. Each entry to the prize draw must be a separate purchase with a corresponding itemised receipt in order for the entry to be valid.

    1. Do I have to purchase a KitKat® product to enter?
    1. Unless you are a resident of Northern Ireland, you must purchase a promotional KitKat® bar or pack to enter the promotion.
    1. I’m a resident of Northern Ireland, how do I enter?
    1. If you are a resident of Northern Ireland, you have the option to enter via our no purchase necessary route by sending your name, age, full postal address and email address to: KitKat® WIN a Road Trip Promotion NPN, Consumer Services, Nestlé UK Ltd, Haxby Road, York, YO91 1XY. Once the request has been verified, a 4-digit promotional code will be provided via email within 2 working days which can then be used on the microsite (www.kitkat.co.uk) in order to enter the promotion. Only one entry per stamped, correctly mailed envelope. A maximum of 2 x claims permitted per person throughout the promotional period. No purchase necessary applications must be received by the Promoter no later than 23.12.22. To be entered into the core promotion, applications must be received no later than 28.02.22. Applications received between 07.03.22 – 31.07.22 will be entered into the first late entry draw. Applications received between 01.08.22 – 31.12.22 will be entered into the final late entry draw.

    1. If you find a lucky bar or pack with a winning insert included inside, please refer to the winning insert for details on how to claim.

      If you are a winner during the core promotional period, you will be notified via the same email address you used to enter the promotion, on the same day that the weekly draw takes place, and will be required to claim your prize within 14 days of the first notification.

      If you are the winner in either of the late entry prize draws, you will be notified via the same email address you used to enter the promotion, on the next working day following the prize draw, and will be required to claim your prize within 14 days of the first notification.

    1. Do I need to keep hold of my promotional wrapper?
    1. Yes, you will need to retain your promotional pack wrapper and receipt as proof of purchase in case you’re a lucky winner. You’ll need these items to complete the mandatory verification process.
    1. What details will I need to enter?

To enter the promotion via the promotional microsite (www.kitkat.co.uk), you need to enter your full name, the last 4-digits of the 13-digit barcode found on the back of your promotional pack, county and country of residence, and a valid genuine and contactable email address.       There are a further 8 x £10,000 (€10,000 for ROI winners) Road Trip holiday prizes available to be won online via www.kitkat.co.uk. One prize is available to be won in each of the weekly draws from 00:00 on 10.01.22 until 23:59 on 06.03.22.

      There is an additional 2 x £10,000 (€10,000 for ROI winners) Road Trip holiday prizes available to be won online via the late entry draws from 00:00 on 07.03.22 to 23:59 on 31.07.22 and 00:00 on 01.08.22 to 23:59 on 31.12.22.

    1. Can I choose my own Dream Road Trip holiday?
    1. All Dream Road Trip holidays are 100% bespoke based upon winners wants and desires, however restrictions do apply. For further details on what these restrictions include, please see full Terms and Conditions for more details. Dream Road Trip holiday prizes will be awarded in the form of a maximum budget of €/£10,000 and must be used against one holiday only.
    1. How long do I have to claim my Dream Road Trip holiday?
    1. In-pack winners will have until 31.12.22 to claim their prize, by following the instructions on their winning insert.

      Online winners are required to claim their prize within 14 days of the first winning notification. Winners will be asked to follow instructions to claim their prize, which will include providing ID, proof of address, telephone number and confirming their email address.

      Once the win has been confirmed and verified, winners will have until 31st December 2023 to take their Dream Road Trip holiday. If this date passes and the winner hasn’t taken their holiday, the prize will no longer be valid.

    1. How will I receive my prize?
    1. Following verification of your win, you will be contacted by our travel partners, who will work with you to create and book your bespoke Dream Road Trip holiday to the maximum budget of €/£10,000.

    1. I have found a lucky winning bar, what do I do now?
    1. Congratulations! Please follow the claim process printed on the winning insert. You’ll also need to keep hold of your receipt, promotional pack wrapper and winning insert as these will be used to verify your win. You will not be able to complete your claim without these!

    1. Are there any date restrictions for booking a holiday?
    1. All Dream Road Trip holidays must be taken by 31st December 2023 for your trip to still be valid. No exclusion dates apply meaning winners have the flexibility to travel at any time of year. However, travel is subject to availability, any Government guidelines that might be applicable and the maximum budget as outlined within the Terms and Conditions.
    1. How long do I have to claim my holiday prize?
    1. Any claims from a lucky winning bar or pack must be made by 31.12.22. After this date, any unclaimed lucky winning bars or packs will be declared null and void. For the €/£10,000 Road Trip holiday prizes won via the online microsite, winners will be required to claim their prize within 14 days of first notification. Winners will be asked to follow instructions to claim their prize, this will include providing ID, proof of address, telephone number and confirming their email address.
    1. Do I have to pay a booking fee when I book my Road Trip holiday?
    1. All booking costs are covered by Nestlé UK unless costs are listed as an exclusion. Any changes made to the booking after confirmation will incur an amendment charge, which will need to be covered by the winner.

    1. I’m having trouble reading my barcode, who can I contact?
    1. Nestlé does not assume any responsibility for barcodes damaged or defaced in the way the product packaging is opened. If you cannot read your barcode due to a genuine printing error, you should contact Nestlé Consumer Services either by email at: consumer.services@UK.nestle.com or by telephone on Freephone 00800 6378 5385 (UK + ROI) and a replacement code will be sent to you. Any request for a replacement code must be received by 28.02.22 for the core promotional period, 31.07.22 for the first late entry draw and by 31.12.22 for the final late entry draw.
    1. I’m having trouble entering my details / claiming my Dream Road Trip holiday prize, what should I do?
    1. Please make sure you’re following all the on-screen directions carefully, and that you’re entering all fields marked with an asterisk (*). Any mistakes or errors you make will be prompted online.     1. My computer / the website crashed as I was entering the promotion, how will I know if I’ve entered successfully?
    1. A valid entry has been made if:

      1. You have entered your full name, email address and the last 4-digits of your barcode on the microsite home page and a ‘Thank you for entering’ page appears
      2. If you are a winner, you will also receive a confirmation email letting you know that you have won. Non-winners are not contacted.

      If your computer or the website crashes during this process, please revisit the website and re-enter the same personal details and the last 4-digits of your barcode again.

    1. I haven’t received my win notification email; does that mean I’ve not won?
    1. Please note that only winners will be contacted via email to inform them of their win following the prize draws. Please be sure to check your email Spam/Junk folder in case a win notification email has inadvertently been filed there. If you haven’t received a winner notification email, then unfortunately you have not won a prize.
