What is the promotion?

We have 10 lucky bars to be found in stores where you can WIN a holiday worth up to £8,000. Find a lucky bar with a winning insert and a holiday destination printed onto the KitKat® fingers and follow the instructions on the insert inside the promotional pack to claim.

Also there are 100 Getaway Goodies available to WIN every day with promotional packs of KitKat®. Buy a promotional pack, enter your unique code online and find out INSTANTLY If you’ve won between 01.02.19- 28.03.19.

How long is the promotion running for?

If you find a lucky bar in store and WIN a holiday, you have until 31.12.19 to claim your prize.

The online promotionopens from 00:00am to 11:59pm each day from 01.02.19 to 28.03.19. A late entry draw will be conducted to win 100 Getaway Goodies from 29.03.19 until 31.12.19. 100 winners will be selected from any entries during this catch-all period.

How do I enter the promotion?

To enter the promotion, purchase a participating pack of KitKat® (while stocks last), open pack, and check to see if you have a winning holiday ticket inside

For the online part of the promotion visit www.kitkat.co.uk and follow the directions to the promotional microsite. Enter your full name, email address, country and the unique 12-character promotional code inside packs to find out instantly online if you’re a winner. Winners will be asked to follow further instructions to claim their prize and will also be sent a confirmation email.

Do I need to be connected to the internet to enter the promotion?

An internet connection is required to enter the online promotion and to claim your prize if you are a winner.

How often can I enter and how many times could I win a Getaway Goody?

You can enter as many times as you want, but you can only win max. 5 Getaway Goodies per person and max. 5 Getaway Goodies per household in total. Each code is unique and can only be used once.

Do I have to purchase a KitKat® product to enter?

Unless you are a resident of Northern Ireland, you must purchase a promotional KitKat® pack to enter the promotion. Once you have purchased a pack, check the inside of the pack for LUCKY winning insert and/ or visit www.kitkat.co.uk to enter.

I'm a resident of Northern Ireland, how do I enter?

If you are a resident of Northern Ireland, you have the option to enter via our no purchase necessary route by sending your name, age, full postal address and email address via Freepost to: KitKat® WIN Make a Break For It Promotion NPN, Consumer Services, Nestlé UK Ltd, Haxby Road, York, YO91 1XY. Once the request has been verified, a promotional code will be provided via email, which can then be entered on the microsite in order to enter the Getaway Goodies element of the promotion. In addition, your NPN entry will be entered into the promotion with the same opportunity of winning the Lucky Holiday Bars as the purchase necessary route. NPN Winners ONLY will be subsequently contacted by e-mail in the first instance with details of how to claim a HolidayPrize. A Winner must respond to the notification e-mail within 14 days to claim his or her prize. Only one entry per stamped, correctly mailed envelope. A maximum of 3 entries per person per day. No Purchase Necessary applications must be received by the Promoter no later than 22.03.19 to ensure that requests can be processed before the final closing date.

How old do I have to be to enter?

You must be 18 years or older to enter this promotion.

How are winners notified?

If you are a winner you will be notified online immediately on screen after entering your unique code and information. You will also receive a confirmation email.

Do I need to keep hold of my promotional wrapper?

If you are a Lucky Holiday Bar Winner, you will need to retain your winning pack, and the special winning insert with the unique promotional code in order to complete the mandatory verification process.

What details will I need to enter?

For the online aspect of the promotion you need to enter your full name, unique code, country and a valid genuine and contactable email address. If you are a winner, we will require your full delivery address including post code.

I am not in the UK. Can I still enter?

Only residents of the UK, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands can enter the promotion.

Getaway Goodies

What Prizes are available to win?

There are 5,700 Getaway Goodies to be won throughout the promotional period (100 per day for 56 days of the promotional period) with an additional 100 Getaway Goodies to be won in the late entry draw. The prize consists of 1x Getaway Goody. There are 6 different Getaway Goodies to be won, and these will be automatically allocated to each winner upon winner reveal.

Can I choose my Getaway Goody?

No, If you have won, you will automatically be allocated a Getaway Goody prize at random. If you would like to win more than one Getaway Goody, you can enter as many unique codes as you wish. You can win max. 5 Getaway Goodies per person and max. 5 Getaway Goodies per household. The Promoter,however, cannot guarantee that any or which prize will be allocated.

How long do I have to claim my Getaway Goody prize?

You can either immediately enter your address to claim your Getaway Goody prize after you have won, otherwise you can use the link in the email sent to your specified email address to return to the claims process. You have 14 days from the time you receive your email confirming that you are a winner to fully claim your prize which includes entering your full postal details and clicking submit. After this period, prizes will be forfeited and re-entered into the prize pool for the core promotion.

I want to collect all 6 Getaway Goodies, but I can only win 5 times?

5 is the maximum number of prizes any person/household can win to hopefully allow the greatest opportunity of these prizes getting distributed fairly. We cannot guarantee which prizes you will win on any occassion but there are 6 prize types available

How will I receive my prize?

Your Getaway Goody will be posted to your address, and we aim to deliver within 28 days of your claim date. If you have completed the claims process by entering your delivery details and reaching the confirmation page then please allow 28 days for delivery before contacting customer services. If you are unsure, return to your original congratulations email and follow the link to the claims page, you will be notified if you have completed the process. Winning a Holiday

I have found a lucky holiday bar, what do I do now?

Congratulations! Please follow the claim details printed on the winning insert inside your winning promotional pack. Please keep hold of your winning pack and winning insert as these will be used to verify your win. You will not be able to complete your claim without this!

If you have won via a Multipack, Sharing pouch or the Biscuit product, be mindful that all the other bars will contain Holiday destinations on the bar.There will however, only be one winning insert and this and all relevant packing needs to be kept for your claim.

How do I win a holiday?

What board basis are the holidays available to be won?

Are there any date restrictions for the holiday prize?

For all destinations there are restrictions around Christmas, Easter and Bank Holidays. There may be further date restrictions on certain holidays, please see the full terms and conditions for more details and more information will be given when you book your holiday.

How long do I have to claim my holiday prize?

If you have found a lucky bar and have a holiday to claim, you have until 31.12.19 to follow the instructions inside the winning wrapper to claim your holiday prize. Any claims attempted after this date will be invalid.

Issues/Problems

I'm having trouble reading my code, who can I contact?

Nestlé does not assume any responsibility for promotional codes damaged or defaced in the way the product packaging is opened. If you cannot read your promotional code due to a genuine printing error, you should contact Nestlé Consumer Services either by email at: consumer.services@UK.nestle.com or by telephone on Freephone 00800 6378 5385 (UK + ROI) and a replacement code will be sent to you. Any request for a replacement code must be received by 22.03.19 to ensure that the request can be processed before the final closing date.

I'm having trouble entering my details / claiming my Getaway Goody, what should I do?

Please make sure you're following all the on-screen directions carefully, and that you're entering all fields marked with an asterisk (*). Any mistakes or errors you make will be prompted online. The microsite doesn't recognise my code, or tells me it has already been entered. What should I do?

Firstly, make sure you've entered your code exactly as it appears on the pack. If you've previously entered this code, you will be unable to enter again using the same code. If you are still getting an error message and you are not sure why, please contact the Nestlé Consumer Services team either by email at: consumer.services@UK.nestle.com or by telephone on Freephone 00800 6378 5385 (UK + ROI).

My computer / the website crashed as I was entering the promotion, how will I know if I've entered successfully?

A valid entry has been made if:

  1. You enter a unique code on the microsite home page and a confirmation message is displayed on screen saying whether or not you are a winner.
  2. If you are a winner, you will also receive a confirmation email letting you know that you have won.

If your computer or the website crashes during this process, please revisit the website and re-enter the same code again. If the code you entered was a winning code, the website will remember your previous entry and will confirm your win for you. If you were not a winner the first time, then you will get an error message saying that the code has already been used. This will indicate that you were not a winner with the code, or that you are not using the same email address that was originally used to redeem the code.

I haven't received my win notification email; does that mean I've not won?

Firstly, please check your email Spam/Junk folder in case the win notification email has inadvertently been filed there. Please note that only winners will receive a confirmation email. If you definitely haven't received the confirmation email, please return to the microsite and enter your code and personal details again. Upon clicking ‘Submit', if an error message is shown indicating that the code you have entered has already been redeemed then you have already successfully entered, and you have not won. This would explain why you didn't receive a confirmation email. If your code was a winning code, then entering it will take you back to the claim process and you can complete claim if this hasn't been done yet.

The website isn't loading / working properly. What should I do?

Please refresh your browser and try to access the page again. It may be that you need to clear your cache by holding down ‘CTRL' and pressing ‘F5'; this consists of data stored by your computer to enable similar future actions to be completed quicker. If you experience problems on one device, please try on another. If your prize is not already out for delivery, we may be able to update your delivery details.

Can I cancel my prize once I've claimed?

Once you have confirmed your address details and your Getaway Goody is on its way, you will not be able to cancel the delivery.
