You will need 

  • A blender

Ingredients 

  • 200ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 2 x KitKat® fingers
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch light soft brown sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp ground mixed spice
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger

For Decoration 

  • Cocoa powder to dust

Method 

  1. Place all the hot chocolate ingredients into a blender and blitz until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into a small saucepan and place it over medium-low heat.
  3. Bring to a simmer while stirring occasionally until heated through.
  4. Pour into a mug, dust with cocoa powder and enjoy. Top Tips When making the hot chocolate, chop your KitKat® fingers well before blitzing to make it easier for the blender. You can also use a stick blender and a deep bowl for the same result. Get the mixture as smooth as possible before moving to the stove.
